SaneCite answers from your own evidence and cites every supported answer to its source. We guarantee the grounding of those answers: a “supported” answer will reflect the source it cites.
A run qualifies if SaneCite labels an answer supported with a citation, but the cited source does not actually support that answer (a grounding error). It does not cover the accuracy of your own source documents, questions your evidence doesn't address (those are correctly flagged unknown), or disagreements about wording.
First, we fix it — we correct the citation, re-answer, or flag the item unknown. If a genuine grounding error can't be fixed, the affected month's subscription is on us. A run with a qualifying error never counts against any plan limit (such as the Free tier's included questionnaire).
Total guarantee credits in any billing month won't exceed that month's subscription fee.
If Pro isn't right for you, request a full refund within your first 30 days as a new Pro customer. This is a one-time welcome window — cancelling and re-subscribing doesn't start a new one.
The guarantee is offered in good faith for genuine use. We may decline claims that are abusive, fraudulent, or outside the cases above.
Pro is billed monthly, month-to-month — cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current period. Your price doesn't increase on renewal. Billing is handled by LemonSqueezy as merchant of record.
Your documents and answers are yours. We never sell them and never use them to train any model; they're not sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Export or delete everything at any time — see the Privacy Policy and Security page.
Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, and don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
SaneCite assists a human reviewer; you're responsible for reviewing answers before submitting them to a third party. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
